President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan announced that Turkey’s natural gas reserve already discovered in the Black Sea reached 405 billion cubic meters, right after inspecting the drilling vessel Fatih on board on October 17. \u200b<\/p>\r\n
\u201cOn August 21, the good news of the 320 billion cubic meters of natural gas reserves discovery had already been given to our nation.<\/p>\r\n
In the wake of the tests, analyses and detailed engineering works, 85 billion cubic meters have further been discovered.<\/p>\r\n
As a result, the natural gas reserves in the Tuna-1 zone of the Sakarya field have reached 405 billion cubic meters in total,” President Erdo\u011fan said.<\/p>\r\n
Describing the find as the largest amount of hydrocarbon reserves in Turkey’s history, President Erdo\u011fan added, \u201cAlong with Tuna-1 zone of the Sakarya field, Fatih will further maintain its drilling activities in the T\u00fcrkali-1 zone as well.<\/p>\r\n
We hope to receive good news also from the T\u00fcrkali-1 zone in the soonest possible time. The 405 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which have been explored at the Tuna-1 zone, will be connected to our lands with the help of a platform to be set up here.”\u00a0\u200b<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
